"Here's Desirée Dunbar doing a Cow Walk and Tail Flick, originally performed in cowtards (holstein painted unitards) in 1985. The signature move was developed with much research in the fields of Belgium and Netherlands. In late 1983 I happened to see a herd in a field from a train window and I swear that they implored me to make a dance about them! This was pre-Far Side cartoons and Woody Jackson's cow portraits.
