Lucky Plush is interested in provoking the paradoxes inherent in this topic: how \u201ctheft\u201d in the dance field is both embedded in a long history of appropriation and a completely new phenomenon taking place on the internet, and how \u201cstealing\u201d choreography can be both irresponsible and transformative.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Punk Yankees<\/em> is supported in part by the Maggie Allesee National Center for Choreography, the Elizabeth F.
